What is the Guaranteed Asset Protection Program (GAP)?

Most all vehicles depreciate in value as soon as you drive them off from an Automotive Dealers lot. It’s not uncommon when financing to have an outstanding loan balance that exceeds the vehicle’s book value.

Our GAP program helps pay the difference between an insurance settlement and the outstanding loan balance (the “gap”) if the protected vehicle is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair, or otherwise declared a total loss. GAP Plus Coverage includes up to a $1000.00 down payment credit toward a replacement vehicle when financed by your Credit Union.

Vehicles covered are New/Used Automobiles, Light Trucks, Vans, Powersport Motorcycles, ATV, Snowmobiles, Personal Watercraft, and Recreational Vehicles.
